After I graduate, or am no longer enrolled in MCC for-credit classes, how long can I access my email account?
Answer
Student MCC email accounts will remain active up to 2 years from the last course completion. If it has been over two years since a student has last taken a class, the mailbox is automatically deleted. Upon graduation or course enrollment, students are encouraged to store important emails to either personal media (archive) or forward individual messages to your personal email address. Students are encouraged to use their personal email accounts, instead of MCC student email address for resumes or cover letters.
Please note that MCC IT staff are not able to restore missing emails or deleted student mailboxes after graduation or separation from MCC.
