Error Message
Global Protect Session has been disconnected due to network connectivity issues or session timeouts.
Description
This occurs when a home Wi-Fi connection is weak and signal isn't strong enough for the VPN connection.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, open GlobalProtect. Select "Disconnect" and then connect again.
INFORMATION FOR USER TO PROVIDE:
When this issue first occurs, please provide the following information when opening a ticket:
- Please let us know how many persons are at their home when this issue occurs.
- Disconnect from VPN application,
- Go to Speedtest.net,
- run test and provide screenshots of the speed of your home network (This should not show Metropolitan Community College as the connected network)
- If it does be sure to go back and disconnect from VPN and run again.
