Error Message

Global Protect Session has been disconnected due to network connectivity issues or session timeouts.

 

Description

This occurs when a home Wi-Fi connection is weak and signal isn't strong enough for the VPN connection. 

Resolution

To resolve this issue, open GlobalProtect. Select "Disconnect" and then connect again.

INFORMATION FOR USER TO PROVIDE:

When this issue first occurs, please provide the following information when opening a ticket:

  1. Please let us know how many persons are at their home when this issue occurs.
  2. Disconnect from VPN application,
  3. Go to Speedtest.net,
    1. run test and provide screenshots of the speed of your home network (This should not show Metropolitan Community College as the connected network)
    2. If it does be sure to go back and disconnect from VPN and run again.
