Projector display aspect ratio and/or color issues

Description

If you find that a classroom projector is displaying, but the aspect ratio is smaller than it should be, and/or the display has a off-colored hue to it, the display settings need changed. 

Instructions

Using the classroom projector remote, navigate to:

Mac OS:

  1. Screen Mirroring -> Display Settings -> Refresh rate ->
  2. Select 30Hz

NOTE: This issue has only been observed in a room with an Apple (MacOS) computer.  However, if a Windows (PC) experiences a similar problem, these instructions may also be followed

Windows:

  1. Display Settings -> Advanced Display -> Choose a refresh rate ->
  2. Select 30Hz (options may vary but any option lower than the current setting will have the same effect)
