Body

Description

MCC's Mitel system provides the capability to forward your work phone to your cell phone or land line.  You also have the capability of checking your voice mail from home.

NOTE: MCC's phone lines are limited at this time. Please only forward your phone if you typically receive a high volume of calls or your core job functions are dependent upon phone connectivity.  Consider email, MSOffice collaboration tools, or voice mail as options to keep phone lines clear.

Instructions

  1. Pick up handset or press speaker button
  2. Press *40 [feature access code] followed by your destination number to forward your calls to, prefaced by a 9 [example 95314567890]

This would be dialing *409########## after hearing the dial tone.

You will get several confirmation tones to let you know that it was successful.

If you forget the 9, it will give you a busy failure tone.

You can do a test call to your phone to make sure it works.
