Scholarship Exception Form
Use this form if you need to request an exception to the requirements of your scholarship so your funds can be applied to your account for 2026 Fall Quarter. This may include taking fewer credits than required, enrolling in courses outside your program of study, or other special circumstances. Submitting this form does not guarantee approval, but it allows us to review your situation and make a formal decision on your request. The form must be completed by September 22, 2026.

Utilizing Outside Scholarships
Have you received an outside scholarship from an agency, your community, high school, or other organization not connected to MCC? Congratulations! Follow the steps in the link below to apply your external scholarship to your student account:

Scholarship Think Tank – Proposal Brief
The MCC Scholarships Office will award up to $50,000 for a new scholarship that will begin during the 2027/2028 academic year. We invite you to share your idea for a scholarship that contributes to student success. Institutional scholarships are only able to cover tuition and facility fees and cannot be used towards other costs of attendance (books, supplies, transportation, living costs).
Use this form to submit your scholarship idea in a brief proposal.
- The deadline to submit your idea is end of workday, Monday November 30th.
- Final selectees will be notified by Friday, January 8th.
The final proposals will be presented at the 2027 Think Tank Event on April 9th, with support from the Scholarship Office throughout the process.
