Bluebeam Student Accounts

Summary

Information for students and instructors on how to set up Bluebeam academic accounts for students enrolled in construction programs at MCC>

Body

Description

Students in MCC's construction program use Bluebeam, a construction collaboration software that allows architecture, engineering and construction teams to create, mark up, measure and manage PDF drawings and documents.  Coinciding with the Fall, 2026 term, Bluebeam has altered their academic offering and changed the licensing model used previously by college and university academic programs.

In the past, student accounts were managed by individual MCC instructors.  Now, Bluebeam requires that all individual academic users apply for free access through their platform at https://www.bluebeam.com/community/academic/. Individual students and teachers can then use their Bluebeam credentials to sign in to Revu from any computer with Bluebeam installed.  While MCC neither manages or grants access through Bluebeam's academic platform, the instructions below will navigate students through Bluebeam's profile creation process.
