Installing Citrix Receiver

Description

Citrix Workspace provides secure access to campus applications, system desktops and access to campus data from anywhere. Report connection or log in problems when trying to attach to a Citrix virtual desktop. Citrix Workspace App allows users to remotely access virtual applications and desktops from various devices. 

Instructions
  1. Go to https://www.citrix.com/products/receiver. Then click Download Receiver Windows or MacUploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  2. Click Save FileUploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  3. Click the Download icon to display the CitrixReceiver.exe file. Click CitrixReceiver.exe. Click Yes to install the citrix receiver.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  4. Click Run to start the installation.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail) 
  5. Click Start.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  6. Select I accept the license agreement. Click Install.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)

  8. At a browser, type https://mycloud.mccneb.edu.  Type your MCC username and password. Click Log On. Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)

  10. If this is your first time in using Citrix, click Detect Receiver.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  11. Then click the Citrix Receiver Launcher and click Open LinkUploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  12. Then click Already Installed.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  13. Click Desktops at the top of the window. (Note that what you see here will depend on whether you have access to the various desktops provisioned.) Then click Student Desktop to open it. Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  14. Click Open With Citrix Connection Manager and click OK.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  15. On the desktop, click Start to view the applications installed on the desktop. You should be able to save locally to a USB drive or your local C: drive. If you have a USB drive inserted, you should have access to save to your USB drive.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  16. Please note that you also do have the option to save to your OneDrive. Do not save to your Documents Library as this is volatile and will disappear when you log off
  17. Please log off by clicking Start, your user icon and then Sign Out when you are done with the desktop.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
