Converting Chrome HTML Files Back to Adobe Files

Description

All existing PDF files in File Explorer have been converted to Chrome HTML document file type - both existing files and any new PDFs downloaded.

Instructions

  1. Open File Explorer.
  1. Right click one of the files that changed to Chrome HTML.
  1. Click Properties. 
  1. Click Change.
  1. Under 'Keep using this app' verify Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is selected. 
  1. Click OK. 
  1. Click Apply. 
  1. Click OK. 
  1. This will change ALL (not just the one you right-clicked on) Chrome HTML files back to Adobe files.
